EFJ GENERAL MEETING 2010
The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ/IFJ) General Meeting took place in Istanbul (Turkey) on 16-18 April.

The meeting discussed both the journalists’ rights’ agenda at the fringes of Europe as well as issues related to the future of journalism and journalists and their unions.
The General Meeting was the occasion to debate and pledge fight back over the decline in European media.
In addition to its final resolutions (available soon on this page), the meeting also adopted a strong statement on press and union rights in Turkey.
