WAZ Media Group and International Federation of Journalists Promote Courageous Journalism

„Courage-Prize" for print- and online journalists
will be awarded for the second time in 2010


Applications are invited from print and on-line journalists working in the countries of  Austria, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia.

Each entrant may enter only once but may submit one or more reports on the same subject. 

All entries including texts published or other forms of journalistic action must have occurred between May 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010.

The deadline for entries is June 15, 2010.

Last years' winner was Ms. Lidiya Pavlova working for the Bulgarian newspaper Struma.
